Expect the unexpected.   Avoid the crowds for a casual yet intimate dining experience at the Mountain View Pub.   The Pub is in an amazing location in the main lodge building of the North Shire Lodge.   It has the best mountain views of any location at the Lodge, and perhaps anywhere in Southern Vermont.   

You wouldn’t expect the Pub to have great food at a great price – but it does.    Food that is made personally for you with quality ingredients.  You might expect that the Pub is open to the general public, but it isn’t – it is available only to you as a guest of the Lodge.  No more long waits in over-crowded restaurants.

Who would know that the Mountain View Pub has really great Vermont brewed draft beer, and a full bar – featuring a large selection of Single Malt Scotch.    Have you ever tried Organic Maple Liqueur that is made in Vermont?    Ever had a Maple Martini?    Vodka distilled in Vermont from maple sap?    We have it.   We also have a large selection of wine, including Vermont wines.   Wine by the glass for as low as $3.75, or wine by the bottle at grocery store prices – not over inflated restaurant prices.

You wouldn’t expect to find Vermont Cheese, from throughout the State of Vermont, purchased directly from the cheese maker, and made available to you in our Pub, yet we have the best, most enjoyable cheese sampling available.   We support our local farms, cheese makers and businesses, to bring you the best of Vermont.
